My dad, a former cop, received this shawl from his senior. The motif is said to represent the Naga tribe, which my dad's senior belonged to.
The color red and hand-made items fascinated me from a very young age. I managed to sway my father into giving me the shawl. It has traveled with me for over twenty years since then but still looks like the day I received it.
